Genesis of The Manthropy Date Auctions: Beginning in the Spring of 2006, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, our upscale date auction parties began as a way of getting friends together to raise money for a worthy cause. Since then, the event has grown and brings over 200 young professionals together at glamorous venues around the city for exciting evenings of fun and philanthropy.
